"The Miles Cafe is a wonderful place to hear jazz. They have a beautiful Steinway Concert Grand and great acoustics. It's a fairly new jazz club and needs support. Of course, all live jazz needs support, so come out!

I'll be playing with some old friends and some new friends. Dan and a have been playing together for around 15 years. A strong time feel from the bass is essential. Dan has it.

Taro and I used to play and then fell out of touch. A sensitive drummer is essential for an acoustic pianist. He swings hard... not just a timekeeper. He's one of my favorite drummers.

Tacuma was introduced to me by a former piano student, Harold Weg. He's a busy guy and we don't get together as often as I'd like, so I'm excited to be playing with him .

Elijah and I will meet for the first time next week.

There will be some other guests joining us as well.

Hope you can make it."
